As a first generation Mexican-American I grew up watching family members take care of each other when they first came home from the hospital with their newest addition. Because of this I learned at a young age how important it is to surround yourself with support during the early days of parenthood.

It truly takes a village to care for and raise children. I understand the hard work it takes to parent, and how great it can feel to get a full night of sleep to take on the challenge of the next day. The fourth trimester was not meant to be taken on alone; it is a time of change and transition, learning and growing, and sometimes a little support goes a long way!
